Drink a lot of water every day! There are different water needs per person per day, one way to know how much water to drink is to drink half your body weight in ounces of water so if you weigh 135 pounds you should drink 135/2=67.5 oz. minimum per day. Water transports fat from the body and aids in detoxifying your cells making it an essential part of weight loss! Also a lot of the time when you may think you are hungry you are just thirsty making water your very best friend when wanting to curb your appetite, but be sure to listen to your body and eat when you are hungry though.
During quarantine unnecessary snacking can lead to weight gain, and potential boredom caused by quarantine leads to snacking, making my 2nd tip to stay busy, make a list of goals, chores, to-do’s and fun things you can do in the house and get it done, this will help you to feel accomplished and keep you from hanging out in the pantry all day.
Talk With the people you love every day, and don’t just have chats but really connect because weight loss is 80% mindset and 20% Food and Exercise and loneliness or feeling disconnected from your family of social groups is a debilitating state of mind that is said to be very damaging on your emotional health and can cause you to turn to food and begin to gain weight as well, so keep in touch with the people who matter most on a daily basis. We all could use a little love and support these days.
