In the modern world, people are often overloaded and bombarded daily with toxins that hundreds of years ago never existed and this change in our modern lifestyle is known as global toxicity. This phenomenon is the underlying cause of so many common ailments and many of us are completely unaware of the effect that our environment, thoughts, beauty products and so much more affect us. How do we know if we are experiencing toxic overload? Just a quick disclaimer, I am not a professional and no information in this article is meant to diagnose or treat any illness. Toxicity can appear in every aspect of our health and often does, in fact, it is often at the root of many different issues and instead of viewing symptoms as isolated events when we begin to view them as our bodies’ communication with us everything will change. Insomnia- Insomnia is a very common sleep disorder where it can be extremely hard to fall asleep, hard to stay asleep, or hard to get back to sleep once you’ve woken up. Toxicity can cause damage to the liver and this will affect the levels of histamine in the brain which helps us to go to sleep.
